I think there is a slow, but steady growth towards pointing cameras instead of guns at wildlife. I know lots of photographers that, like me, put the gun away in favour of a camera. Unfortunately, it is a slow growth. I do understand deer hunting, but bear hunting has never made sense to me.

Agreed. It will be interesting to compare the sentiments people have say 15 or 20 years from now to the ones some have today.
