Comox to Bella Bella

Between May 1st and May 5th I had the distinct pleasure to sail with friends between Comox and Bella Bella. I was also honored to help steer our vessel across Queen Charlotte Strait – one of the most notorious crossings in the Pacific Northwest.

  1. I’ve only been through Johnstone Strait once, heading south. It was a nice day on the water. All of the other times I’ve had to ask my husband to turn us back. I’m a fair weather sailor, even in a power boat. Your sailboat must be massive from the shots you’ve given. – Margy

    • Try 54’!! 😉👍 She’s a yacht!! In a boat I prefer some “rough sea” actually. I’m definitely a fair weather kayaker though.
