Overview Johnstone Strait is a 110 km channel along the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. Opposite the Vancouver Island coast, running north to south, are Hanson Island, West Cracroft Island, mainland British Columbia,¬†Hardwick Island, West Thurlow Island and East Thurlow Island.
