There’s a current opportunity to provide feedback regarding British Columbia’s spill regulations. The government is soliciting public input as it relates to this overall process in regards to B.C.’s coastal environment.  I encourage all of my followers that have values similar to mine to take the time to complete the survey and provide comments. It didn’t take me any longer than 10 minutes to complete. I also encourage all of you to… Read More

Please watch, like and share! Again, I’m honored to continue to support Sadie Parr and the work being done by Wolf Awareness Inc. My friend and Filmmaker Paul Novy from Iceberg Films did an exceptional job capturing the presentation on January 27th.

This is absurd! It would be hard to believe that there’s much in the way of objective thought during any decision making process. “After repeatedly denying the existence of such documents, the B.C. government has finally complied with a freedom-of-information request revealing a strong hunting culture within the conservation officer service.” Read more here: vancouversun.com/…/b-c-releases-documents-revealing-hunting-culture-among-conservation-officers

The recent images and video of the starving Polar Bear on Baffin Island are heartbreaking to say the least. It’s a reminder that we must start changing our ways, if it’s not already too late. As difficult as it was to observe, I applaud my friend Paul Nicklen and his team for their efforts in showcasing this for the World to see. Let’s start doing something about it!

It was an honor to meet up with acclaimed Canadian Wildlife and Nature Photographer John E. Marriott in Calgary recently. I received a signed copy of John’s new book – Tall Tales – Long Lenses which chronicles his journey as a photographer. Check out John’s website here: wildernessprints.com

Each year as a part of my annual calendar distribution, I solicit donations on behalf of a conservation based – non profit organization. This year I have partnered with Surfrider Vancouver Island. They do amazing work and I’m happy to be a part of their efforts. Find out more about what they do here: vancouverisland.surfrider.org
