This past weekend we were greeted by members of the Surfrider Foundation (Vancouver Island) at Rugged Point. After a long 21 km paddle from Fair Harbour we were invited to their camp for spaghetti and the warmth of a campfire. The Federal Government is set to make a decision any day now. For the sake of British Columbia and all of Canada let’s hope they make the right decision and say no to Enbridge and the proposed Northern Gateway Pipeline. Too much is at stake!
