Between May 15th – May 25th I again had the honor of exploring Canada’s Great Bear Rainforest and sharing some pretty incredible moments with Grizzly Bears. I continue to be amazed by these majestic animals and their graceful sense of power. It’s reassuring to know that these animals can no longer be hunted for trophy’s in the province of British Columbia.

Grizzly Bears in particular haven’t had many friends over the last couple of hundred years. Thankfully, on December 18th the BC NDP Government became one and ended this atrocious trophy hunting fiasco once and for all. I do not necessarily support any one given political party but I certainly do support this legislation and I applaud those elected to office for making a humane decision.
