Overview Johnstone Strait is a 110 km channel along the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. Opposite the Vancouver Island coast, running north to south, are Hanson Island, West Cracroft Island, mainland British Columbia, Hardwick Island, West Thurlow Island and East Thurlow Island. The Federal Government is set to make a decision any day now. For the sake of British Columbia and all of Canada let’s hope they make the right decision and say no to Enbridge and the proposed Northern Gateway Pipeline. Too much is at stake!
