Norris Rocks. This small rocky islet 500 m off the southwest end of Hornby Island is located in the Marine Conservation Area. Winter storm waves break over the islet at high tide. Access is by boat only. Please maintain the required distance by boat, kayak, canoe, paddle-board, etc. to avoid disturbing wildlife. Please do not go ashore. Adventurer Rebecca Grim and Conservationist Leonie Mahlke paddled the Inside Passage, a network of coastal waterways in the Pacific Northwest, to meet women fighting to protect the coast. They kayaked for four months, from Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Glacier Bay in Alaska. This is their video preview and it’s nothing short of awesome!
